Major Automotive Program Installations
Culver Development was chosen by Chrysler to install the first Laser welding door lines to be placed within a North American automotive, final assembly plant. The highlighted photo shows one of the door lines and associated Laser enclosures. Culver Development tore down, shipped and reinstalled “4” of these door lines in a twenty five day period. This incredibly aggressive timeline was essential to Chrysler in meeting the overall program timing for the successful launch of the new 2012 Dodge Dart. To ensure that Chrysler was able to meet their overall program timing with the new “Laser Welding Technology” Culver Development was actually single sourced. To ensure that both the timing and technical expertise were maintained Chrysler selected Culver Development on this critical project
